Nick Offerman's Good Clean Fun

Nick Offermans Good Clean Fun

We count ourselves very lucky to have a friend like Nick Offerman. He has built himself a triple-barrelled career as an actor, writer, and woodworker, and distinguished himself in all three fields. Our Canoecraft Companion DVD is one example of his many talents, and he continues to use his celebrity to raise the profile of woodstrip canoe-building. We're always grateful for Nick's company and his humour, but his latest project deserves special mention.

Good Clean Fun: Misadventures in Sawdust at Offerman Woodshop is Nick's most recent book, released October 18. In it he profiles his inspirations, and we were honoured to read his chapter on Bear Mountain Boats. We can't thank Nick enough for the kind words, but we're also proud to be a part of such a fine book: in addition to profiles, Good Clean Fun is full of stories, projects, and photos that remind us why woodworking is such a rewarding occupation.

We're making arrangements to carry the book in our online store, but copies are available now through the Offerman Woodshop website. OWS also sells tools, kits, and other merch, so they're well worth a visit.

If you'd like further proof of Nick's passion for his trade before you commit, check out his recent appearance on Colbert:
