CHEX News Covers the Bear Mountain Workshop Move

One of the hard parts of relocating from Peterborough to Westport is leaving behind such a rich local history of boatbuilding. Peterborough is the historic hub of canoe production, and at Bear Mountain Boats we're honoured to have made a contribution to that legacy.  
While we're excited to discover Westport's unique local history, the move provided a chance to look back at Peterborough's canoe culture and our time in it. Local news station CHEX news visited the workshop this month and shot a conversation with reporter Lindsay Biscaia, discussing C15 war canoes, Canoecraft, and more in the course of a short interview.
